Instructions to take the South Carolina Class A/B

Since UST Training is not yet approved in South Carolina, we recommend you take the online course provided by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).

Here are the steps.

  1. Go to https://apps.dhec.sc.gov/Environment/USTOperatorTraining and read the information on this page.
  2. Click on Register button and create an account. Note: have your SC DHEC UST Permit # ready (found in your state registration paperwork)
  3. Login to your account and complete the training and final exam. It’s free.
  4. Once completed, follow your company procedure for submitting a copy of your certificate of completion.
