Oregon Full Serve Going Away?

fuelingOregon is one of two states that still require full serve fuel dispensing at convenience stores but those days may be limited. Recent Oregon legislation may drop the requirement for rural parts of the state, which includes over half the state’s counties and most of Eastern Oregon.

So how will this affect Class C UST training and spill response in Oregon? Do more live class C operators per site equal fewer spills? Are Oregon gas stations safer because there’s always someone standing by the dispenser 24/7? Would there be slower spill response if this rule is enacted?  Many questions but few answers at this point.
