Class C Training FAQs
What is Class C UST Operator Training? Class C operator training is a new rule in most states that requires owners of Underground Storage Tank (UST) systems to ensure their staff are trained to respond to emergencies involving UST systems.
Who is a Class C Operator? A Class C operator is anyone who might respond to a spill, alarm or emergency at a UST facility during normal hours of operation. Most states require at least one operator per site but most large companies train most or all staff.
When is the NATIONAL TRAINING DEADLINE? August 8, 2012 is the deadline when most states will require all persons designated as a Class C UST operator be trained either by a Class A/B operator or by an approved third party vendor. How much does your Class C Training Course cost? $12.95 per person. Multiple user discounts are available: more than 11 users-10% discount; more than 51 users-15% discount. Higher discounts are available for larger purchases. Contact Us for more information.
What does this training involve? Users attend our interactive course on-line. After successfully passing the final exam, the user prints the certificate of completion. There is also a required state-specific worksheet to be filled out and signed by the Class A/B operator (to ensure understanding of site-specific conditions and the company's policies).
The course takes about 30 minutes to complete.
When is training offered? The course is taken on demand and is available 24/7.
What are the computer requirements? A computer with high-speed iInternet, Flash Player (free download), and computer speakers.

Is your Class C Training course state-approved? Yes, our course is approved or acceptable in many states and the list is growing. UST Training plans to be approved in most states by the national deadline. (However, some states do not approve third party vendors).
What about large companies with thousands of Class C operators? We offer software-leasing with extra savings for large clients and a finder’s fee for resellers who bring them to our attention.
